Vegan Cake at Wagamama!
So, I'm a little late to the party with this one, but in my defense I'm usually too full of Vegatsu when we eat at Wagamama to even look at the dessert menu...
But look! This is the "mango + matcha layer cake". It may appear like a small portion but with all of its filling you actually get quite a lot for your money, not to mention it tastes like all of the ingredients are fresh and amazing quality.
The Wagamama website describes this as:
The cake itself is moist and would absolutely convince a non-vegan. The layers are matcha (green tea) which is gentle and complements the sharper mango layer really well! Both myself and my Mum agree this is the best vegan dessert we've ever had.
According to the menu, they also do vegan ice cream - chocolate + orange blossom, strawberry + yuzu, and pink guava + passionfruit sorbet. The sever we spoke to said he wasn't vegan but they were incredibly accurate in replicating dairy icecream, so you might want to give those a try too next time you pop in!
