The Vegan Steak Bake is here!
After months of speculation, it's finally here!
A year after Gregg's release their amazing vegan sausage roll, they've stepped up their game by adding a vegan steak bake (and vegan glazed donuts!) to their portfolio. Like the sausage roll, it's made with Quorn, and even has the same pastry pattern so you can tell from a glance that it's the vegan version.

The day it was released, there were pictures of queues everywhere and reports of batches being sold out in minutes! I managed to get to a Gregg's a couple of days after it was released, so thankfully there were plenty in stock.

This tasted like a better version of the ones you can buy in the fridges in Holland and Barrett! The 'steak' appeared to be made out of the regular Quorn chicken pieces, but it didn't feel out of place. The gravy was also amazing, and went with the pastry really well! They have a generous amount of filling too.
Overall, this is definitely worth a try, especially at £1.55! It's still so amazing to see so many places catering for vegans now.
