Starbucks' Vegan Autumn Menu

If you're reading this, you're probably also excited about it finally being the season of Pumpkin Spice Lattes. This year, Starbucks have brought back the famous PSL, along with some new autumnal treats. But which ones are suitable for vegans? Read on to find out!

Firstly, let's answer the big question:

Is the Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte vegan?

Yes, when made with a dairy alternative such as soya, coconut or oat, the Pumpkin Spice Latte is suitable for vegans. Just make sure you remove or substitute any dairy whipped cream topping on the iced version.

Starbucks also have some snazzy autumnal reusable cups for sale too

Starbucks have brought out quite a few new drinks. But which are vegan? Sadly, it does not appear all of them are vegan, but the following are suitables for vegans when made with a dairy alternative:
  • Pumpkin spice latte
  • Iced pumpkin spice latte (remove dairy cream or swap for vegan cream)
  • Salted Maple & Caramel Latte
  • Iced Salted Maple & Caramel Latte (remove dairy cream or swap for vegan cream)

Is the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew from Starbucks vegan?

No, sadly according to the Starbucks website this cream cannot be swapped for a dairy-free alternative, making it unsuitable for vegans. Why not try an iced Pumpkin Spice latte instead?

The banana loaf (middle of photo with the green label and yellow wrapper) and pumpkin spice cookie (bright orange cookie in the middle of the top right shelf) are both vegan.

Starbucks have also brought out a couple of vegan food options for autumn:
  • Firey No-chicken wrap (contains wheat, barley, mustard and soya)
  • Spinach & Pea falafel wrap (contains wheat, mustard, sesame)
  • Pumpkin spice cookie (contains wheat)
  • Banoffee Mini Loaf Cake (contains wheat)
  • Apple & Blackberry Overnight Oats (contains oats)

I have to say I'm a massive fan of the pumpkin spice cookie, as you can see from the photo it's a little crumbly but goes perfectly with a PSL
