Starbucks Vegan Christmas Menu 2022
It's that time of year again! Starbucks have released their new Christmas menu, with some vegan options available too. It can be confusing to work out which drinks can be made vegan, so here's a run down.
I've shown all of the drinks customised with oat milk and no whipped cream of any sort, so please bear in mind the allergens will change depending on your choice of milk, and whether you order with vegan whipped cream (contains soya).
Toffee Nut Latte
When ordered with a non-dairy milk and without dairy cream, this drink is vegan! It doesn't appear to contain nuts either, despite the name, but if you're concerned about allergens please double check with a member of staff.
Caramel Waffle Latte
Gingerbread Latte
I am really confused by the Starbucks' website's opinion on this!! When customised with vegan cream and wafer topping, it is vegan, but when customised with no cream it is labelled as containing milk (??) I would advise asking staff about this, (I'm wondering if it's the topping that isn't vegan?) but if you're unsure you could order a non-dairy latte with gingerbread syrup, which is vegan.
* Please be aware the gingerbread latte topping contains wheat and barely.
Is the Starbucks Eggnog Latte vegan?
No. Unfortunately, the Starbucks Eggnog latte contain real egg, so cannot be made vegan. 🙁
Starbucks Christmas Vegan Food
Unfortunately, there isn't much in terms of festive vegan food options - unlike competitors such as Costa, Pret and Caffe Nero, Starbucks do not have a vegan Christmas sandwich this year. (That's not very Christmassy!)
They do however have two vegan cakes available:
- The Toffee Nut Mini Loaf Cake (contains hazelnuts, almonds and wheat)
- The Chocolate and Caramel Muffin (contains barely, soya and wheat)
Hopefully this has been helpful - and as always, if you have an allergy or aren't sure please ask your barista to double check ingredients 😄
